From Wax to Silver
Have fun making something special with a personal touch. In the two hours with Maggie you’ll carve a unique, one of a kind ring using jewellers wax and a selection of tools. Your bespoke wax ring will then be taken away and transformed into solid silver using the process of lost wax casting. The rings are then hand finished and posted back to you within 2-3 weeks.
See workshop dates with Make it in Wales here.
Couples or one-to-one workshops can be arranged. Your rings can be cast in solid silver or yellow, rose or white gold. Once you’ve made your wax ring Maggie can weigh it and quote how much it would cost in your precious metal of choice. you could choose to have your ring cast in sentimental gold that you may already have. you may want your ring hallmarked or engraved. if you’d prefer to leave the making to maggie that is of course an option as well. Contact Maggie to start planning together.
